I'll just send you money back?

Hi, I wanted to buy something that was $60.00USD.

I asked the seller if he would sell this for $50.00USD.

He somewhat agreed and sent me this message.

"Sure just check out and pay the $60.00 if you can and I'll just send you $10.00 dollars back.... Because I don't think ebay lets you send paypal address anymore if they did I would just have you give me your paypal address so I could send you a new invoice for the total...Thank You!"

Can this be trusted? Thank you

Sounds like a space cadet.

He could set up a Fixed Price listing for you at the agreed price plus shipping.

He could use your name as the title and give you a deadline for purchase.

Both of you would then be covered by eBay and Paypal Protection policies.

However, you should be aware that eBay frowns on buyers making offers to sellers who have not purchased the Best Offer option. Buyers can be reported to eBay for such pesky moves.

Basically, he is not too interested in your offer. Move on.
