I have a first time buyer who purchased an embroidery kit, and now wants to return it because she finds the stitching too small for her. As she has changed her mind is she or me responsible for the return shipping?

Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Thanks so much, I was hoping that would be the case.

I need more help on this. The buyer, an elderly lady, now wants to keep the item, but she knows very little about using a computer, and doesn't know how to cancel the return request. I can't do it for her because she opened it. My question is, if I leave it as is, will it be closed automatically without me getting a defect?

It will close on it's own and by mid-February it won't be a defect anymore.
Right now today if it was opened as a SNAD it's already a defect and it doesn't matter if the buyer closes it or not or does a return or not.

No, it was not an SNAD, the buyer changed her mind, didn't mean to purchase it. It was her first purchase.

Then you won't get a defect and it will close in approximately 30 days if there is no return.

Thanks, I hate to hassle her to cancel it, and she is going to keep it.
