The import charges that are sometimes attached to items seems to be nothing more than a way for ebay to squeeze a few more dollars from the buyers. I have made purchases in the past and asked the seller if they can remove this charge and they have been able to. It is my understanding that the seller doesn't opt into this program but rather Ebay is attaching this additional charge. I also notice that it's hit and miss on items..... some items have an import charge and others don't?
Wake up Ebay ...... time to get with the program!!! The people are tired of all the taxes that we are required to pay.
