I dont understand how eBay can allow these "KIDS" to run these scams. It is very easy to tell by the poor spelling and the repetitive description that these are not adults.
These types of listings have been on eBay for years and while eBay does get rid of them after complaints, I really dont see why they cant scrutinize the listings BEFORE they go up. After all, 90% of these scams are for new computers so how difficult would it be to have an eBay employee look at new listings for computers and pull these.
I guess eBay is happy getting the listing money and commission from scams as is PayPal.
Also, why doesnt Gateway or Dell or other computer companies exercise some clout and go after these scam artists and eBay? After all, their reputations stand to suffer some damage as well.
You know that if scammed, you could go to PayPal and claim you never received the item and since the seller has no way of providing signed proof of delivery you got it, so you would get a full PayPal refund.
