It happens every time....

It seems no matter what, when I'm in a rush or have a deadline, there's always a sale at almost the most inconvenient time possible!

Things have been very slow last few days (on purpose, no sales running, no new items listed etc) which is fine.

Only one sale in the last 30 hours.

Postal truck is coming earlier today (remember I live in a wee village) so I get my items ready and up to the PO in time, discover the truck is coming an hour later. (We're doing a family watch Star Wars Rogue day this afternoon).

Come back from PO and yep, almost predictably, another sale!!!

Simple, small order so got it ready and off with 12 minutes to spare.....whew…..

Sales have been pretty good in the past couple of weeks.

I had been considering closing down since Christmas is usually poor for me, not being a seller of 'giftable' items.

Discount postage too! Which I take to mean that other eBay sellers are doing a lot of shipping.

A drop in the loonie would be a help to all us exporters. My procurement costs (in US dollars) have been dropping to 2010 levels since the thrift stores are not buying overseas.

I hear you. While I am pleased to be getting any sales lately, the one that drives me most bonkers is when I look down at my phone while standing in line at the most office to mail something only to see at that moment has just been sold and paid. Meaning that I'll be back again within three hours. Groan.

As for loonie, on CBC, it predicts that it will go lower to 65 cents in 2017!  Yikes!!  Will it hurt the Canadian sellers on eBay?

While I'm not an economist (and I don't play one on TV) it's generally accepted that a low dollar is good for export.

(Ugh, I need to do a better job proofreading. 'Most office' is supposed to read 'post office' above.)

LOL... Freudian slip?

I'd say that was pretty accurate actually.  It's the "Most Office" to most of us.  Woman Very Happy

Take a day off for Christmas and have a Merry one!
