Item not as describe in Ad but answered in Q&A area?? Does the Q&A now become the items description?

If an item description describes an item very little and a buyer asks a question looking for me details.  The seller in answering the question gives more favorable details.  Are those details now the item as described?  If I buy the item, it arrives and is like the ad states but not as answered in the question, can I return it as not as described?

Yes.

We sellers are constantly complaining that eBay is too flexible about "not as described" claims. This is useful for buyers of course.

If your seller has bids on his item already, he cannot change the text of his listing. So the Q&A is the best method of clarifying.
