Another site issue that I've noticed. I haven't contacted customer service about it yet but wanted to know if it is a known issue or not.
Sometimes I use the UK listing exposure option which costs .50. Each time I relist an item I decide whether or not to cancel that option or keep it on. In the past, when I used bulk listing, the listing price on each item on the first screen would show whether or not that extra 50 cents was being added so I would have to option then of deleting the option or keeping it active. Also, in the second last step before completing the relist, the total amount owed would be shown and I still had the option of taking that option off. I noticed that when I was doing 3 and 5 day listings during the promotion, that the charge would not show up until the last step and that point it was too late to take the option off. Paying 50 cents for 30 days is one thing...paying it for 3 days is not reasonable. This is only a problem for some items...for example some times the 50 cents will show up when it is supposed to and for some items it won't.
I hope this makes sense. I do have some screenshots that I can send.

@pjcdn2005 wrote:Thanks Raphael. That may be one of the problems but almost all of my listings are in U.S. $ but only the ones that were done on .com can be added to a cart on the .com site. For example..item 350975042236. It is in U.S. $ and was listed on .ca so the option to add to cart on .com is not available.
Sorry for the confusion, I should probably have been more specific here. The currency issue is what made the existing Carts be built site-specific. No eBay site other than Canada works with dual currencies, so we had to get this built into the Cart before we launched it on our site.
So to confirm...sometime in the future none of the sites will be site specific when it comes to the cart?

Hi pjcdn2005,
Let's take a look at that for you - mind dropping me an email offline (kalvin@ebay.com) with the detailed steps & screenshots please?
Thanks,

I agree your not understanding. Shipping not specified puts us at the bottom of the search list After every other country shipping not specified used to indicate that you didn'toffer shipping to that country so they put you to the bottom of the list that's where we are now. most Canadians who don't sell stamps or screws use calculated shipping not the least Canadians the most or the majority of Canadian sellers on here another thing you're wrong about it's virtually impossible do you sell an item with flat rate shipping in Canada because of the discrepancies and prices between postal codes.
second nobody from any other country can buy more than one item from us because they took away the commit to buy page and instead forward the seller right to Paypal to pay for the 1 Item
Hi bcwet,
Actually this just isn't true. Shipping showing as unspecified in Search does not influence your search placement at all.
You come up second on 127 results, and there are several listings below you that show specified shipping. Bear in mind that the bug we're observing here is only impacting how listings are shown in Search, the system can actually tell that the shipping is specified. Just check the item page.
About the use of Calculated shipping, once again sorry to tell you that you're wrong. We can see how many listings are created with flat rate shipping and how many use calculated, the overwhelming majority use flat rate. I promise you.
Lastly, regarding the immediate pay rule that obliges buyers to pay for your items one by one should they wish to purchase more, unfortunately there's a side effect of enhancements made by the US site for the US business. eBay Canada has no power to influence such decisions and as a result, situations like this one are created until we can catch up. This problem will be resolved at least on eBay.ca when we launch Cart, and hopefully at the same time or soon after the US Cart will align and start accepting Canadian items.

I can only speak to what the Canadian Cart will be for now, but what I can propose is that now that the multi-currency capability has been raised as a requirement, it stands to think other sites will follow suit. It's something I am actually trying to figure out, ask me again on a future Board Hour.
