LOST ITEM

i am new to this bidding game, so i put a bid on an item i wanted not knowing what reserve bid not met means,i was the winning bid but lost it because of that reason.So i contacted the seller after bidding ended and he agreed to sell the item to me on line through ebay emails.I have the emails of him agreeing a price and trying to figure out a shipping method,now he does,t answer my emails when i try to make contact.i think his profressional attitude in this is very ignorante by useing ebay after the fact.now what i want to know is there anything i can do about getting that item after he promised it to me in writing

Why would you still want to buy this item of a seller who's offering poor customer service?

the value compared to the new one would be worth trying to come to an agreement, but to a certain extent.There is always another deal, I just don,t understand why with a good feedback rep he can,t reply not interested. bad member to deal with
