This account was last used regularly in 2004 although I had a few listings (about 30) in 2009-1011.

The invitation came in this morning and I may use it.

Please read the terms very carefully.

The promotion is for auction style listings, NOT fixed price listings.

Auction style listings may include the "Buy-it-Now" option at no cost.

"Sellers may also add the Buy It Now option and 10 day duration to these listings free."

I got an invite on my non-Store id.

For those who didn't or haven't yet got an invite.......

The invite may come by email (not in My Messages), in My Messages (but no email) or perhaps only with a pop-up box on the left in My eBay.

Some of my invites don't show up until the day the promo starts so hang in and keep checking.

Does anyone know the criteria for these free listings?

The last time I got an invitation was for the Dec 6-16 free listings.

Never received an invitation for the Dec 27- Jan 2 or the Jan 13-19 listings...

only eBay knows and they are not telling!

They are test-marketing different groups of sellers - with and/or without a store - with and/or recent transactions, etc... After the promotions are completed, they analyze the results: more/less sales?  more/less FVF?

The "tricky" part for eBay is to match the increase revenue they get from sellers using the promotions against the reduction in revenues from other sellers. Buyers have only so much money to spend and they do not know or care of the sellers had a listing promotion.

eBay's criteria seem to change everytime.  Some sellers seem to be invited regularly while others are not (I am not).

I got invited.  First time invited.

Now all I need to do is get my Turbo Lister fixed.

Have been waiting a week for ebay to tell me what is wrong and how to fix it.  Their first response didn't help.

This makes sense. It just seems odd that I felt like I constantly received these e-mails about free listing promotions (barely a few days passed without any free listings) but now it's been almost a month and 2 free listing promotions I that haven't been invited to.

Puck, I had to dump TL. It uploaded wrong photos, descriptions went missing .I finally gave up 😞

My TurboLister was acting weird last week as well... I uninstalled it, dumped all my old data files and backups, reinstalled, and it's working fine now. But I guess if you need your old data files then you probably can't do that...

Boohoo!!  I didn't get it for my non-store. The last time was Dec 6-16.   I generated a whole lots of $$$$$ in final value fees far more than usual.  The usualy final value fees they get from me from 50 monthly free listings (twice on eBay.com and eBay.ca) was about $ 10.00 and with Dec 6-16 free listings promos, they got over $135.00 in final value fees from me!!

I guess eBay didn't want more $$$$$ from me???  ]:)    Darn eBay for not sending this invite to me!!

I had received all promos up to November, then the last promo in November I was not invited and have not since then. I double check when there is a promo with a test listings because sometimes I qualified but did not receive notification.

Very annoying. I list less without the promos.

I am setting up secondary eBay ids for the 50 free and possible promos.

I agree with previous posts, I'll be using up the rest of my 50 monthly listings this weekend, after that I won't be listing until I get free listings again.
