Hypocracy is a hoot isnt it?
I remember in High School there was a careers week and professionals came in to set uo workshops. Also invited were alternative lifestyle types such as Womens Libbers and Hari Chrishna.
I noticed the Hari Chrishna speaker had a $400 watch on his wrist which seemed to conflict with their traditional beliefs about not owning or possessing things of value.
I asked him why he owned a Mondavi wrist watch and he said quite matter f factly "Because it keeps really good time".
He answered my question without providing me the asnwer I was looking for, a really great job of avoiding the conflict from what he taught over how he lived.
Ah yes, the old "DO as I say, not as I do" philosophy. Thats where these types all have an answer or excuse for the reasons they do what they do even if they are contrary to what they preach.
Isnt it amazing to see that some of the people protesting the war tomorrow will be wearing protective gear and carrying hidden clubs and stones and other gear to fight to police with?
