NEW PAYPAL CANADA..ANYONE HAVE ANY SCOOP??

Hi Gals and Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any scoop on the new paypal Canada? Will we still operate pretty much the same way?...My slight concern is that I have a good thing going emptying my account weekly into my US based RBC Centura account and then transferring into my Royal bank account here..it's fast and I get a better exchange rate than through paypal...Hope I can still do things that way. Would appreciate any scoop anyone may have.

According to Amanda at PayPal nothing will change except the business entity of record. Time will tell.

Looks like I got some scoop myself direct from paypal...here is the email I received, doesn't appear to me to be many drastic changes...hope this helps out...

"Hello my name is Felix, I will be happy to assist you with your question
regarding changes to the PayPal service under PayPal Canada limited.

Although most PayPal users will be able to continue using PayPal without
any change in the services, some users may notice the following:

· Members with a U.S. bank account attached to their PayPal account
may continue withdrawing funds to their US bank account
· Members with a non-U.S. or non-local bank account attached to their
PayPal account are no longer be able to withdraw funds to those bank
accounts
· Members may only add a credit or debit card whose billing address is
located in their home country
· Members who have registered credit cards with a billing address
outside their home country will have those cards automatically removed and
an opportunity to replace those cards with local cards

More efforts to protect the exchange rate profits paypal makes when not giving the whole exchange rate!. Its big money!!!.
