I am very new to ebay and last week purchased 4 items from the same seller. No problem. Today I purchased 2 items from a seller and when trying to bid on a 3rd got the following message:
"This item is only available to buyers who have not purchased 1 or more items from this seller in the past 10 days".
What does this mean? Thanks for any info you may have

Hi .. Ebay allows sellers to set limits on multiple purchases,,
"Are currently winning or have bought '1-100' of your items in the last 10 days (you can specify the number)"
Can contact seller and ask if they would make an exception and add you to their exemption list.

Every movement has its lunatic fringe. Some sellers have been plagued by bidders who win several even dozens of auctions and then refuse to pay for any of them.
This may be funny to the bidder, but it takes time to close out the fake purchases and relist the items.
So some customers have a limit on the number of items a bidder can bid on, to prevent these nasty attacks.
