Okay, thanks. I think my browser blocks pop-ups so that might be the reason I see nothing new.
Also, the paypal shipping problem is very frustrating to me since when I call paypal they tell me it's Canada Post at fault and when I call Canada Post they tell me it's a paypal deficit.
It definitely sounds like an issue on the PayPal side. Sorry I can't help with that.

No window is there. I have logged out and back in, go to my seller dashboard but no window appears. Do I have to enable something? is anyone else having the same issue?

@amya4295 wrote:Where do you actually see the On time Metric in your seller dashboard. My seller dashboard looks exactly the same as always. Do you see actual counts/transactions where buyers answered the shipping question? Sorry but I can't see where this option is. I see "low detailed seller ratings for shipping time" but that is if someone has left low feedback stars.
When you go to your seller dashboard, don't touch anything, a window should appear over the dashboard to show you the preview. If you see the normal dashboard it means you probably closed that window.
When I log in as you and go to your dashboard, I see the preview just fine.
I don't see one either and I did not close any window. I do see a ~ and trending data. Could some not have been updated yet with the window?

I tried to see it as well and nothing appeared...

FYI - it is not fixed. Especially when you select US funds
On another note
"Starting in late October, all sellers who use restocking fees can save time by having fees automatically deducted from certain refunds. For example, if you add a 10% restocking fee from the new drop-down option in your return policy and your buyer decides to return the item because they no longer want it, the fee will automatically be deducted from the total refund issued to your buyer."
Is this in effect, if so where does a seller implement this feature?

How will ebay track for the purposes of the question which of my items were paid and subsequently shipped before my same-day cut-off time of Noon EST? And which after? What assurance do I have that the feedback on-time question will provide the buyer the right dates if he paid for an item after the same-day cut-off time and it therefore had its acceptance scan the following business day, as is allowed. The only way we can track the time at which you put an item in the mail is if you use a tracked service. For those, we want to see a valid tracking number uploaded to eBay. Any transactions for which the items were shipped untracked cannot be measured that way. For the estimated delivery, the clock starts when a buyer pays, not when the listing ends. So does your handling time BTW. So it's impossible that a buyer would pay after your stated handling time.
I know. What I mean is that I am hoping the software can see that if an order is placed after my same-day dispatch cut-off time that I no longer am required to ship it the same business day. My cut-off time is Noon Local time. Orders paid at 11:59 am and I need an acceptance scan by the end of business day THAT day. Order placed at 12:05 pm and I need an acceptance scan by the end of the following business day. Do you see what I am concerned about? With same-day handling, not all orders placed the same day are of equal importance. The ones before the cut-off time need to be out the door and scanned accepted THAT day. After the cut-off time, it's the next day. It's not that any item paid by 11:59 PM is my business day for same-day handling. I'm not dumping same-day dispatch but I want absolute assurance that ebay can see what time and properly adjust the deadline by which the item needs to be scanned accepted. Not all orders placed the same day are actually required to be dispatched the same day. Only those before MY cut-off time need to be.

I don't want to leave myself open to defects that i haven't actually earned because of a failure in the software.
11-04-2015 03:47 PM
I don't see it either and I don't have a pop up blocker on right now.

To everyone who don't see the dashboard preview, it's possible that I might see it earlier than you because I'm in the eBay domain, I don't know for sure. What I do know is you will see it very soon, and that what I saw on all the previews I looked at from your accounts is all green.
I'll check with the SDB team how the deployment of the preview is supposed to work, and update this thread when I get a response.

I looked at several of your items just yesterday and the shipping discount mention appeared no matter what country I selected for shipping. Can you give me an item number where the problem is still present? Thanks.

I would have expected it to be there by now. I have reached out to the Returns team about this.
EDIT: There was a delay in rolling out that feature. Watch out for it in the very near future.

That's specifically what the cut off time setting does. If the payment comes in after your set cut off time, same day handling means you'll have shipped by the end of the next day.

Right! But I want to make SURE that that ebay knows that when they analyze what time acceptance scans were received on which orders. You're telling me the acceptance scan analysis absolutely smart enough to recognize this. Okay. Moving onward. This is what we see in our dashboards.
I don't think anything has changed. I don't see what you see. Or if I do, I'm not recognizing it for what it is.

But you've said there is supposed to be a Preview that allows us to see what will come into affect in February of 2016. I use Safari. Is this a browser failure?

As I said it's possible that the preview simply hasn't rolled out to you yet. It's coming. I promise.

Oh, I see the updated answer on this now. We must have been posting at the same time. My apologies. I feel like that person still shouting to be heard after the loud song has ended. My bad.

Can I applause you on your all-zeroes dashboard? Honestly with your volume in sales, that's not an easy feat. Congrats!

Again! Oooops. I'm going to slink out the door now. Thank you to all for listening.

Er, thanks. I fear I have embarrassed myself here. But, yes, there are two times that one likes to see a big pile of zeros and that's on the ebay Sellers Defect page and also on payday... but the payday part would be zeros at the end of a number, not the start. I'm still waiting with fingers crossed for that day to come. Heh ha. Oh boy.

Hi Raphael, hope I'm not too late for my question.
With this latest fall update categories were changed for Crafts->Sewing & Fabrics->Sewing->Sewing Patterns. This also meant changes to the item specifics for Sewing Patterns. Recommended now is Type, Age, and Gender added to the previous item specifics. Why on earth would they need Age and Gender for non-clothes crafts or home decor patterns? Not to mention Christmas Decorations!
As I understand it, if I don’t fill in these recommended item specifics, I am penalized in Search. I have always diligently filled in all my item specifics but these just don’t make sense. Can you please explain what I should do about these particular item specifics? Or could you ask that they not be required for other than things like clothing and toys? Thank you.
A follow-up to above, I have recently just been putting Does Not Apply when it really doesn't apply. Possibly this could be added as an option?
Thanks again.

Hi vintagenorth,
You should only fill out the item specifics that make sense for the item you're selling. None of these fields are a requirement for you to complete the listing (in some categories, there are required item specifics but not in your category). Item specifics that don't apply to your item and are left empty won't harm you in Search.
