Official CTS Siggie Request Thread

Siggie artists are eagerly awaiting your requests!!!



When making your request, please:

- state exact wording or name you want on your siggie
- theme you would like (fantasy, fairies, cats, dogs, cars, etc)
- Colours you would like (blue, red, purple, pink, etc.)
- Glitter or no glitter
- anything else you would like on your siggie
To change a finished siggie usually requires the artist to redo the whole siggie, so please, BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT!!!



When you pick up your siggie, please leave the artist a short note to let them know that you picked it up and what you think of it. We work solely for accolades and thank-yous!

and they have every right to do that, i know, just seems sad, so many people worked so hard to keep that sig thread going, i arrived a year ago, kept it alive till others arrived, just seems all for nothing, please ignore me, i'm being a grump and will go now xxxx

Gill- are you referring to the old official request thread, or to this one? (that you worked on). I thought that the old one broke- I know there was a problem with a couple of threads going kablooey recently. My understanding is that this is the replacement.
Feel free to correct/ clarify if I'm wrong.

Krysta- the site I found the pic had terms of use for sigs: I can resize, but not change colours/shapes, I must keep her url on it, and may not profit from it. Think I covered the bases...! I hope- don't want to be in trouble!

Just to add to what Krysta said, if you use any image that is not your own, the smartest thing to do is find out if you are allowed to use it as a siggie. Many companies like Disney and Warner Brothers do not appreciate people using and converting their images to tubes.

It's not worth the hassle and definitely disrespectful to use a copyrighted image when making siggies; how would you like it if someone stole your auction listing pictures?!

Most artists give permission to use their images (Rion Vernon, Nene Thomas, PC Crafter, etc) and don't mind if you use their art, as long as you include appropriate copyright information in the image.

Here is a list of artists that don't mind their art being tubed or used in graphics and if you link to each page, they will tell you exactly what type of info to include in the copyright tag.
