Recently, the PayPal site had technology issues that may have hindered your ability to conduct business using PayPal.
To show our appreciation for your continued business, we're going to credit you for PayPal transaction fees incurred on October 28, 2004, between 12:00:00 AM PDT and 11:59:59 PM PDT.
You don't need to do anything to receive your credit. We'll add up the transaction fees you accumulate, and send a credit to your PayPal account by November 25, 2004.

Yeah, chances are I'll end up having a really slow day tomorrow.... 😛

I think the best way to take advantage of this is to do some large transfers you've been waiting to do. For example, you have a pile of money in one PayPal account, and want it in another. Tranferring it would cost you a lot of money in fees, right? Not tomorrow!

I owe a buddy a couple hundred US, but we've been holding off transferring it for a long time, because he doesn't want to pay the fees. I think I'll send it to him tomorrow.

As for eBay purchases, well, I figure I may save a couple bucks. Better than a kick in the side of the face.

The day in question when they had "issues" I was expecting a payment of nearly $400 US. Naturally, the guy got it through and managed to pay on the 27th....@!*%#@!

Looks like the credit will come later. All my fees were still taken out of my account today.

If only I could still make that kind of profit on ebay
