Trying to print a shipping label, preview window pops up but it is blank with a broken icon in the corner....I press print and it prints a blank page. Tried to reprint label same thing...
Any ideas? Adobe is updated as well as Windows.

Awwwwww...This is what's going on. They've changed their labels. They look different now. Good luck everyone, it's working for us on Firefox (windoze)

google chrome on pc. Don`t click OK until label is printed, this way you can try to reprint a million times if you want.

Got it on Firefox.

And if all of that was so they could change the way labels print they sure picked a fine time to make the change.
Friday afternoon must be one of the busiest times getting shipments out before the weekend.
Brilliant.

I've been using Chrome to print labels because they're a little bit larger than Firefox and IE. I just printed one now and the layout is different. The addressee portion is not all scrunched up now, so that's better, but I just noticed that there is no longer a receipt number at the bottom.
I then tried to re-print it on Firefox to compare, but I had reached the maximum number of re-prints for that label. So I guess, each time I selected "print label" to see if it was no longer blank, it counted towards my limit.

I just noticed that the receipt number is shown in the details of the Canada Post entry in PayPal.

Yes working on Chrome here....you know I called Paypal and asked and was told it was a problem on my end.
At least she could have told me it was a Canada Post update....then I wouldn't have kept trying...

No it's not (at least for some of us).
Pitney-Bowes has changed the required flash plug-ins needed to view (and print) the label.
So this will break browsers without the new plug-ins.
Since my browser does not support the new plug-ins I get to see how long it takes to get a shipping refund processed.

Based on what I see, this is as a problem caused by Pitney-Bowes, not Canada Post.

I had to enable adobe acrobat in order to make it work. I think that I disable all add ons on FF the other day so I assumed that it was my fault until I saw this thread.

I had same issues working from Safari. I switched browsers to Chrome and it worked fine. PayPal rep said Canada Post changed it's format. He suggested to clear cookies in Safari and close browser. Did that but next label was once again blank. Went back to Chrome and it printed

Has anyone been able to get a label printed using Internet Explorer?
I tried this morning (Sunday) and it still shows a blank label
I managed to print the label with Firefox, but had issues doing so, and the situation is not ideal.
I really don't want to change browsers. I have everything set up the way I want with IE. I know my security settings and other features that I can turn on or off as needed. When using Firefox I don't know any of the settings or how to find them, and to tell you the truth, I don't have the time or interest in trying to figure it out. Besides that the label prints a different size and does not fit in my mailing pouches.
Soooo, if anyone has had sucsess with IE, I'd appreciate knowing how you did it. I'm running version 11.0.15

I printed a label on FF yesterday and then on IE. I didn't have to do anything special to print the one on IE.
I rarely use IE so haven't updated it lately...I'm using 10.0.3

Still no luck here printing with IE
I made sure Pop Up Blocker was turned off.
I'm not sure what else I should look for.
Before the New Improved Model, everything worked without a hitch, and I always kept my Pop Up Blocker turned on
Labels printed the right size, everything was good. No goofing around trying to fool it into working. Everything was straight forward, and worked and printed as shown. What you clicked was what you got - Loved It.
Twice today I had to use Firefox after getting a blank screen with IE
My printer driver is not in sync with Firefox for some reason, so I have to keep cancelling the printer dialogue box so I can access the label box so I can scroll around to preview the label which NOW does not show up on the screen without scrolling - Not to mention it's sideways. <sigh>
I also cannot seem to print a sample label. I clicked the Print Sample label button and what I go looks like a good label. Not Voided like the old way.
Then I clicked the Print Label Button and both labels look exactly the same. The good news is - so far I have only been charged for 1. I got in the habit of using my Voided sample label for my records, so I want to be able to have that extra copy.
If one is different in some way PLEASE some let me know, because I'll end up using the wrong one on the package. 😞
I'd still love to hear from anyone with suggestions as to what I need to do in order to print with IE like I used too.
Thanks
Wendy

Does anyone know if there has been any change on this issue today? It would be nice if someone at paypal could explain how to deal with this situation.

I haven't had a sale for a few days, so this was the first chance I had to try out I.E. I'm using 11.0.30 and it printed fine. It did, however, default to PDF Printer which I don't use, so I had to change the printer selection. The label printed out sideways but the addressee block was less "scrunched" than previously. There is no receipt number but you can find it in the Canada Post entry in your PayPal account.
The last year or so, I've used Chrome to print labels because they were a little larger than IE or Firefox, so I printed the same label on Chrome for comparison purposes and it was identical to I.E., with one exception. On I.E. the Canada Post block printed in colour and it didn't on Chrome.
I didn't add or delete any add-ons.

You can change your preferences so that the label prints in black and white. The default on IE is color but I was able to change it.

I'm using Safari on a Mac and not encountering the same problem HOWEVER, as has been mentioned elsewhere, the item details for Customs are rendering incorrectly for packages being exported. I have reported this to paypal.
If the seller has multiple items, the last will duplicate and replace the actual, meaning the content description and value will not be correct. Until this is fixed, my suggested workaround would be a vague description for a multi-item order as a bundle with total value for the lot instead of a detailed breakdown. The detailed breakdown won't render correctly.
My label printed as
but actually the order included and was correctly filled out as
| ||||||||||||||
Customs Currency: | CAD | |
Package Content Type: | Other
