This afternoon, moments after I hit 'pay and continue' on a shipping label, paypal had a fairly substantial hiccup that saw all information associated with my account activity disappear. It still shows a currency balance but that is all. "Please try again." I also had to manually enter my tracking number as well as mark the item Shipped on ebay.
Earlier this week, I got random captcha-type prompts that I have never seen before when logging in to print a label from the Order History menu.
Does this kind of thing cause anyone else apprehension?
I can't help but feel paypal has had an unusual number of glitches lately. And I hope this isn't another case where they tell us weeks later that something untoward has happened....
Site maintenance? It seems like there is never much happening on their boards. Another place to look? Anyone know? I checked ecommebytes and saw nothing about it.

Right-o. When I complained at Board Hour last about how Paypal Shipping had been, ahem, glitchy I was directed to take it to paypal. Paypal says it's Canada Post that is the problem and Canada Post says, 'No way, it's paypal.' But if we really look at it, you're right, it certainly could be the ebay-canada-subcontracted-to-pitney-bowes-aspect-of-paypal-shipping which lays to blame.

This issue with Tracked Packet needs to be fixed. It has disappeared and I keep getting erroneous error messages about my ebay account not being valid when it is. Also, it tried to claim Xpresspost wasn't a thing.

I tried CP epost online shipping, they don't have option for USA or international shipping now, it disappeared. Workers at Canada Post told me they not always know (nobody informs them) about problems with online service. Paypal costumer service blame everybody and anything but themselves. But I have that error message almost for a week now.

Yesterday I talked with real person from PP, they admitted that have a problem with Canada post for a while now, working on it, but still no shipping service available.

Believe it or not, that is good news.
When I spoke to paypal shipping two days ago, there were no reports anywhere of any problems with shipping that my rep could see.

My last label printed flawlessly. Everything worked exactly as it should, the way it used to.
I went directly to paypal to do it, though. I was logged into both accounts at the same time.

Yesterday printed one label out of 10 shipments, when switched to classic site, and that was it. Today nothing working again...
