Paypal site down?

Is anyone else getting the message that paypal is down right now?  I've been trying to print shipping labels since this morning and it lets me go through the WHOLE process, until it's time to print, then it says to come back later as paypal is down.

???

Is it just me?  I'm new to selling so I'm in panic-mode right now and wondering if it's something I'm doing wrong, or if this happens from time to time. Any help to calm my nerves would be appreciated! Thanks!

I haven't tried using paypal today but often when it does that I just refresh the page and it will work.

If you are trying to make a label for another country, it could be that there is a problem with the address or that the address is too long for one line. If it's the latter, you can split up the address over 2 lines.

Yes, I've tried refreshing and I have 5 orders so I tried printing labels for other buyers and I get the same response each time.  They are all going to the States, I'm in Canada, and I've never had any problems before.

Again, it lets me go through the whole process of inputting the dimensions, weight, explanation of item, etc. and then when it says "print label" that's when I get the message "sorry for the incovenience, please try later."  I can't remember the exact words, but it implied the site was "down."

I was just wondering if anyone tried printing a label, but I guess everyone would be posting here and there'd be a big uproar.

I guess I'll keep trying...thanks for your prompt reply!

I have been at PayPal several times so far today without problem.

It may be a problem with Canada Post or Pitney-Bowes or something temporary.

Okay, tried again to see what it said EXACTLY.

PayPal Shipping is not available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

It doesn't say why, what's going on, and when it might be back up in use...very frustrating.  At least have an explanation.  I don't know if I should arrange to get to the Post Office or just wait it out...

Again, I'm a new seller and I tend to panic if I don't get my packages out by same day/next day...I guess I should take a deep breath and just chill.lol  It can't get sent out until Monday anyway...I just don't want orders to pile up (being far too optimistic with saying that).

yes we will all get strikes against us as usuall not shipping on time ect been there its pay pal and ebay causing the the next wave of neg fb oh well come to expect it they screw up the seller gets the neg fb just the way it is  i ship 7 days a wk and im sure ill get neg for late shipping again wow painfull

Not able to generate shipping labels since last weekend, contacted Paypal, they have no idea what is the problem... but they assure me nobody beside me having any problems! They said there is no reports.

For those that are having problems, have you tried using another browser? I haven't had any problems lately but every once in a while I would get that message when using Firefox but not if I used IE.
