People like Alex Jones are the last people who I want to see owning guns. He looks like he was high on pcp in that video.
He is the last person that the gun lobby wants to represent them because he will do more harm than good.

Here is an interesting quote (including typos) made by a fellow comment-er posting under name Joey Leung today on one of the UK news websites:
While its well known that Alex Jones is a "conspiracy nut" you won't find footage of him glibly talking about shooting another human being, not even one who disagrees with him. The Hyprocricy of Bissenger and Morgan is almost to much to bear, How are they not embarassed?
End of quote.
Jones releases his energy barking, he is not a shooter. You should be afraid of silent polite types, which seems to be common denominator of recent mass murders. Another one is they are mostly men. It's gotta have to do something with uncontrolled testosterone build-up.

From a friend in Southern Cal
When I had my gangrene gallbladder taken out and spent 10 days in the hospital for what should have been an overnight stay the insurance company kicked me out. I had home nurse visits for two weeks and was asked if I had guns in the house. I respond that if I did I would not tell them. So the below has some merit.
FYI, I am passing this along... There are comments from two other people I have also been asked if we keep guns in the house. The nurse just kinda slipped it in along with all the other regular questions. I told her I refused to answer because it was against the law to ask.
Everyone, whether you have guns or not, should give a neutral answer so they have no idea who does and who doesn't. My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house and also if any were loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions Then he asked why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.
The Government now requires these questions be asked of people on Medicare, and probably everyone else.
Just passing this along for your information: I had to visit a doctor other than my regular doctor when my doctor was on vacation. One of the questions on the form I had to fill out was: Do you have any guns in your house?? My answer was None of your damn business!!
So it is out there! It is either an insurance issue or government intervention. Either way, it is out there and the second the government gets into your medical records (as they want to under Obamacare) it will become a major issue and will ultimately result in lock and load!!
Please pass this on to all the other retired guys and gun owners... Thanks, from a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer: I had a doctor's appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions: 1. Did I feel stressed? 2. Did I feel threatened? 3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?
The nurse then informed me that if I had answered yes to any of the questions I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.
Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people like retired law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians, what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners potential terrorists. Whether you are a gun owner, veteran or not, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !
If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them. Be very cautious about what you say and to whom.
They are coming for us, so unless you're an ostrich, do not stick your head in the sand.........

June, 2008 - In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme court said that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" is not limited to state militias, as some historians have argued. Rather, it protects "the inherent right of self-defense," Justice Antonin Scalia said. Joining him in the majority were Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justices Samuel A. Alito Jr., Anthony M. Kennedy and Clarence Thomas.
June 29, 2010 - The Second Amendment provides Americans a fundamental right to bear arms that cannot be violated by state and local governments, the Supreme Court ruled Monday in a long-sought victory for gun rights advocates.
But Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., who wrote the opinion for the court's dominant conservatives, said: "It is clear that the Framers . . . counted the right to keep and bear arms among those fundamental rights necessary to our system of ordered liberty."
The decision extended the court's 2008 ruling in District of Columbia v. Heller that "the Second Amendment protects a personal right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes, most notably for self-defense within the home." That decision applied only to federal laws and federal enclaves such as Washington; it was the first time the court had said there was an individual right to gun ownership rather than one related to military service.

Nevertheless not unlike the questions asked to obtain a license to own guns here or to renew your license. And it requires a signature from your spouse confirming she doesn't mind you owning guns.

Valve, come’on…..you know this thing that was made up and sent out on the internet had a bigger purpose.
Look at what was said and even the fact it was totally made up….it’s worth examining for the entertainment:
- "There are comments from two other people I have also been asked if we keep guns in the house. The nurse just kinda slipped it in along with all the other regular questions. I told her I refused to answer because it was against the law to ask. My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house and also if any were loaded."
I have Never heard of that being asked by a doctor or a nurse in a US hospital. Not one person I know in the US has ever mentioned that to me. However just to be fair I will call a nurse (sorry about that mikey) who I know and she worked for 24 years in intensive care and other areas of a hospital in California until she returned to Canada.
The only time I can see a doctor asking is if someone has mental problems or if someone is about to be put on medication that might alter their personality in some way that guns should not be around.
As for your comment about what is done in Canada, that is true, however, it was not presented that way in the made up article.
- This invented man went on to say … ” Then he asked why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.”
To begin with I have often wondered how many times in the USA in the course of a year for instance that someone had actually had to use a gun in the protection of their property, or family? I can never find accurate stats on that, but it is often touted by gun advocates and the NRA. And I am not talking about someone who grabs a gun because he hears a noise outside just to find that the cat turned over the garbage can. I mean real use of a gun in defence of an attack or home invasion. I have only found four verifiable ones and one of them was a known drug dealer protecting his product from other drug dealers.
Also…..you have guns…..would you leave a loaded gun anywhere in the house that someone could get at easily? Would you recommend more people do that? …..people with young children at home and grandkids and teenagers….and what if a couple has a bad argument, do you think it’s a good idea to have a loaded gun around the house and easy to get at in a moment of stupidity that they will regret for the rest of their lives!?
- He continued….. ” Either way, it is out there and the second the government gets into your medical records (as they want to under Obamacare) it will become a major issue”.
I dare anyone in the US or anywhere else to show me where in Obama’s health care plan that there is even a vague mention of wanting to incorporate knowing who has guns. I double dare them!
- Then he continued on again talking about questions supposedly asked at the VA clinic and was told if he answered yes to any of those then he would lose his ‘carry’ permit (it actually should have been lost all his guns). If that isn’t true it should be. PDS is a big problem in the military and not talked about much. The first effects of it were seen and admitted to after the Nam war. It is right to ask military men who have seen so much death and destruction these questions in order to protect their families and other innocent people….and themselves. Every day one soldier of the US military commits suicide …..here’s the article http://www.policymic.com/articles/11174/army-suicides-the-most-alarming-and-tragically-hidden-secret... and there are many more out there like it.
---- Then he closes off with the Fear tactic (gotta love the attempt, but it's sooo obvious) ….they’re going after the vets and then the retired police and then all other people will be next and it’s all because of …..Obama!!! It took someone a whole invented scenario and invented person to actually get to the real agenda they were ‘aiming’ at.
Here's a hint to keep in mind, a famous quote:

A student shot another student with a shotgun Thursday morning at a Southern California high school, said Ray Pruitt of the Kern County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting happened in the science building at Taft (California) Union High School near Bakersfield, Pruitt said. The wounded student was airlifted to a hospital, and a suspect is in custody, he said.
Earlier, the county's fire department said two people were hurt, though it also said the second injured person had "minor" injuries and refused medical treatment.
Details of what led to the shooting weren't immediately available. Pruitt said he didn't know whether the shooting happened in a classroom. Law enforcement officers were going through the school to "make sure we don't have suspects outstanding," Pruitt said.
Taft is about 25 miles southwest of Bakersfield and 100 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
The 16-year-old suspect – a student who missed the start of his first class Thursday morning – walked into school in the middle of first period, walked into class and shot a 16-year-old fellow student with a 12-gauge shotgun, Kern County Sheriff Don Youngblood told reporters moments ago.
The shooter then named a second student and fired at that second student, but missed, Youngblood said. The teacher in the class tried to usher students out of the class – there were about 28 students there – and engaged the shooter in conversation, according to Youngblood.
That teacher and another person – a "campus supervisor" – continued to talk to the shooter, and eventually the shooter put the shotgun down, Youngblood said. Police officers then arrested the shooter, Youngblood said.
The student who was shot was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition, according to Youngblood.

There’s a fellow I know in California, in Berdoo. We correspond about once a week and he is in a social club. Without going into long detail he said that they take care of life internally, but he added that there is so much going on out there when it comes to civilians that anyone will shoot anyone because there are so many guns and in the big picture it makes them look like choir boys. The safest street in his town is where their social club is.
