Positive Buyer experiences with the new global shipping program?

Hello all,

I am new to the boards but have been a buyer on ebay for over 10 years. 

I've noticed many items for sale in the US are using the new global shipping program.  I'm quite leary about it and haven't  found any positive info from Canadian buyers. 

So.....has anyone had any positive experiences as a buyer using the global shipping program?

Anyone been charged extra upon delivery?

The $7.68 fee for P-B isn't for doing nothing.

It's for re-addressing and re-shipping the package to you which they received from the seller.

The thing is.......... you gain nothing from it.

You lose because you have to wait longer for your parcel and you're also guaranteed that you pay for up-graded shipping methods which may not be necessary if a seller ships the normal way.

The program is insulting and disrespectful to everyone.

Do they really think we are that stupid?

If the seller had used USPS what would the shipping costs have been, they do tracking?
