I'd also have to agree with that sentiment.
In eBay's words in the letter that accompanied the "kit".
"This unique program helps us recognize and reward your exceptional performance as an eBay Seller"
To eBay - Marketing 101 should have taught you that if you are going to tell a customer that they are special to you - make it sincere! Sloppy production (ink smudges) of the "Thank You" cards prohibit my sending them to my customers (see the sample below).

Ink transfer and a document ID also prohibit my display of the certificate that doesn't even have my name on it (an eBay ID suggests that I'm just a number to eBay).
When you send second rate materials you send the same kind of message. If it was eBay's attempt to make me feel "special" they missed the mark by a wide margin.
Somebody in the Cdn. PowerSeller program should be pink slapped for allowing this material to be rushed out the door if it was not checked or right.
