You must maintain an average of $1000 per month. You can have $1500 one month and $800 the next. It's a rolling average of the past three months so you could have $3000 in sales one month and none for the next two and you would still retain PS status.
PS feedback is calculated differently from regular feedback. It is depended upon ALL feedback given, not just unique feedback. Therefore a PS can lose their status if one person gives them a large number of negs. I've seen it happen where a PS with a 99% average, who sold small stuff, lost their PS status as one disgruntled customer left them 250 negs.
