This is my final thread for the day and then I am moving on to other things, I promise you. We've all noticed that weird bug with listing pages loading like it's so 2013. At least, I have. It's been like this for at least five weeks. Despite that, today was the first time that I noticed the seller's Restocking Fee field does not exist in the circa-2013 view. It just was not there.
I raise this since it may lead to complications should we have a remorse return where the buyer doesn't expect there to be a restocking fee (quite rightly if they've only ever seen the 2013 view of the item they've purchased) while in reality in 2016, it says so right there.
Cases in point. Here is an example from my own listing http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=232086199530&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:CA:1123#ht_1181...
When the page loads like 2013:
Nothing there. That field does not exist. When the page loads like present day it is supposed to:
There it is, as it should be. Complicating matters is that when they changed the Returns flow at this time last year, we were told to STOP using our descriptions to speak about restocking fees and use this field. And I quote from the Fall Seller update in 2015:
Starting in late October, you’ll be able to add restocking fees using a new pull-down menu found in your return policy when creating a new listing or updating an existing listing. You should no longer use the ‘free-form’ field for restocking fees after the pull-down list becomes available. from http://pages.ebay.ca/sellerinformation/news/fallupdate2015/returns-updates.html#faq=faq-43
But if that field doesn't show now more than half the time you look at a listing, this could lead to trouble down the road.
I wanted to bring this to the attention of other members so that if a conflict arises over restocking fees, you might be able to work it out because you'll know it is possible your buyer really didn't know you had a restocking fee on that item since they might never have seen anything but the weird 2013 page view.

I see the restocking fee on that listing. Are you looked at the listing from selling manager or 'see other listings'?

Or do you mean that when someone else looks at your listings, they never load like it's 2013?

Wei I go to your supplied link it looks like your picture no restocking mentioned, but when I go to http://www.ebay.ca/itm/232086199530 it does have it.
