Returned a product for refund with no response

I returned a oven surface element on December 4 2014 ( I have the postal receipt). Since then I emailed the seller on January 14, January 20 and February 9 to see if he received it or credited my credit card to no avail. The seller goes by . Is there any reason why he would not refund me?

You don't have any proof he received the returned item.

Worse case scenerio.... He's keeping the item and the money.

 

IMO you needed to address the matter sooner.

Did you use a tracked service?

 

If not, you are not getting any money back from the seller nor any help from eBay/Paypal. EB/PP have a deadline of 45 days on disputes and claims.

 

You can try going to the credit card your really paid with (PP is just the mediator) and asking the 1-800 customer service rep about a chargeback.

She may need proof of delivery or may accept your proof of mailing.
