Scope for sale...?

Am military, have a Specter sight I'm thinking of selling. I used it overseas but obviously it was a personally owned sight and thus no other weapons parts as it went on my DND issued weapon. What, if any, hang ups can I expect if any?

Scope for sale...?

Most of the possible problems would be the same as selling anything -- from books to babyclothes to gunsights to jewelry to Magic The Gathering cards- as a new seller.

Your low FB score makes you a target for scammers.

You would tend to be selling into a high testosterone demographic, and that has its own set of problems.

You are selling a used product, with no warranty from the manufacturer.

And if it were used in the field, there could be unimportant scratches that the above mentioned testosterone-charged scammers would whine about.

And Paypal would hold your customer's cleared payment for 21 days against your good performance.

I don't think the sight would be a problem,as such.

But you may at this point, find it easier, faster and more profitable to use a local free online classified ad. Cash on pickup, meet at Timmie's. (Try the Nutella Bites. They're great.)
