Sellers Getting Lazy During Christmas

I dont know whats going on, but I recent just purchased a bunch of comic books from a few sellers, and the sellers must be lazy on shipping/handling.

From 3 different sellers, all the books arrived in a envelope, they look like they just threw them in there and dropped them off at the post office.

Well in all 3 cases, all the books arrived damaged, 2 of them said say I never paid for insurence, but on the invoice its states I did pay for insurence, one of the seller was nice enough to take them back and refund me no problems.

I swear the sellers must be getting lazy. It kind of makes me feel good about myself thou, as I take the time to make sure the packaging on my books is perfect and arrives perfect, as who can really trust Canadapost.

Well I think the 3 sellers just lost $400 in sales, because they look like they will end up refunding it all back to me.

Any of you have any stories like mine...and what did you do ?
Thanks.

I'm quite happy sales wise and have a shot at making the powerseller sales target. I do find however than the market for some graded books has softened... Especially for moderns graded at under 9.8. And yes, there are exceptions. Even rare Retailer incentives or RRP's don't seen to be in demand if not a 9.8... Except for the Batman 608.

Buckingham, these days CGC books wont really sell off unless you have a 9.8 in your hands or better, but getting better I find is hard. Thanks.

I'm a guitar playin, long blond haired, Zeppelin lovin, beer drinkin SOB..... Who also loves money(and scotch)!!!!! And you of course!

haha...isn't that funny how when you write on the boards for so long, you kind of get an impression of what people may look like...and bucky,...a long blond haired geeetar playin zeplin fool is nothing what i thought you looked like! (although love some of zeplin's songs-one in particular, but i forget the title)...

We hook up when its quiet, and log on the net on the laptop in the cruisers and look at all the old 12c issues we used to have. Sad eh?

not at all paul! sounds fun! i guess we're all nerds of SOMETHING that we love in the end...i love art, so i'm an art nerd i guess! some paintings just make my knees weak and my heart flutter... i think if you are able to work with the things you love, or sell them, you're lucky...after all, you can only be successful at selling items you love...:-)
