Ok, anybody know what the 'circumstances' below are?

WSBoyd

eBay does not permit the sale of... replica and “look-alike” guns. eBay permits ... imitation firearms under certain circumstances.

I did a quick search for "flintlock" under > Collectables > Militaria which produced several results for reproduction and/or decorative pistols.

From the description by the OP, it seems that this item is a decorative reproduction and was never constructed with the intention or physical means of ever being fired. I would think that this item would be fine - it is basically art.

You could check with live help to see if they can direct you to additional guidelines (if there is any) on non-firing, decorative reproduction firearms.
