Hi everyone
I switched from ebay.ca to ebay .com as I sell mostly fragrances but I think I might have made a mistake . My store does not show up as .com but .ca.
Also I sold more fragrances to buyers from all over on .ca but hardly anything with .com.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

One thought was that you did not have the USA set up as a destination. But you do, so that's not it.
I have noticed a slight uptick in my Canadian and overseas sales since the new policy came in, but it doesn't seem enough to be more than anecdotal.
However, if you are shipping from New York there is no particular reason to be listing on dotCA.
In my opinion, anyone using Flat Rate (or free) shipping could just as easily be listing on dotCOM.
If your dropshipper is good about keeping stock information up to date, how about an experiment?
List the same items on dotCOM that you already have on dotCA.
This is allowed, always provided you (or your dropshipper) have enough stock to fill all orders.
You can (if your dropshipper allows) use USPS Calculated Shipping which may or may not be cheaper for your customers.
You can also use USPS Calculated within the USA and Flat Rate for Canada and overseas.
If your US sales pick up without the Canadian and overseas ones dropping off, you have a new business plan.
Or you may decide to drop listing on dotCA altogether.
Of course, it may just be summer.

Looking at some of your recent listings, they show item location as New York, USA
Is that correct?

Yes I am a drop shipper and the company is in New york.

It really shouldn't make a difference as your listings are seen on both sites either way and the average buyer has no idea where the listing was done. Listing on .com doesn't change where your store is located as the store was opened on .ca
