Selling restrictions for luxury brands

Ebay has decided to pick and choose which brands and how many of each you can list. I have been trying to sell a couple of pairs of Versace pants and just today when I decided to relist I am no longer able to. I have had these pants listed for a couple of months now and always provide detailed photos, tracking numbers, and returns are allowed. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

100% seller so far (11 transactions) and all high end brands, I have never sold a counter fit item in my life and I never will. In order to be able to list more Burberry, Versace, and DKNY (?? who sells fake DKNY!!) I will have to sell more.

IF I CAN'T LIST THEM I CAN'T SELL THEM!! So the circle continues...  I will sit on my recently purchased stock for 30 days until Ebay decides I can list again.

I have a store with employees, the employees are paid to list things, when these things are blocked with no advance warning that is a waste of my money and my employees time. Please at least provide specifics on restrictions so I can manage my business and my time, this "guessing game" is ridiculas and unproffessional.

I've never done anything to Ebay why are they doing this to me?

This method of dealing with the problem of counterfit may be successful as the total number of listings are reduced, the flip side is you will STILL have fakes and counterfits but now you will also have alot of unhappy sellers.

So question is - anyone have a reason to continue selling on Ebay?

Thank you,

Charles

We had the same restriction put on us, and it has nothing...

Reason for selling on Ebay are becoming extinct they are almost going out of their way to tick off sellers, they will protect a scamer with their policies but sellers who are the core business of Ebay get the shaft in more than one way!!

I'm almost afraid to agree with you, in fear of being kicked off of ebay. After all, as of July 1st the community 'forums' are now in 'read only' mode - what kind of a forum is that? Doesnt forum mean discussion? Nope, not allowed.

We had the same restriction put on us, and it has nothing to with feedback, it's all about your star ratings within a 3 month time period, if any stars fall below 4.80 you have a 30 day restriction put on unless it's resolved before then. We actually spoke with a rep and thats what she said to us, we're top rated sellers, bronze sellers and we have almost perfect feedback, all because someone who was irrational left us a low star rating on one thing, we got dinged and now have to wait another 3 weeks to list our authentic name brand perfume (which by the way I might add, we've never had anyone complain about whether a product was genuine.
