When I was at eBay live alot of the eBay staff there we're saying they had intentions of launching the eBay shipping calculator for use by Canadian sellers.
Just wondering if anyone has seen an update that I may have missed?
Can't wait for this one to arrive! It will be a lifesaver. I can't invoice eBay users automatically using my tax table because it costs different amounts to send a package to BC then Quebec and for taxes to be automatically included requires you to set 1 flat rate for all of Canada 😞 I spoke to a ton of reps at eBay live and waiting for the shipping calculator to become available was their only solution for me

They can't even get the tax calculations right so I am not holding my breath for the shipping calculator to be integrated - even if they do manage to get it done it most likely will not work correctly.
Would be nice thou

You can buy a shipping calculator for Canadian sellers on eBay its roughly 30$ for the year.. I dont like it because I have two stores and a wholesale name I sell under and every item has to be individually 'weighed & measured'.. its embeded in the listing..
it would work well if you sell alot of items that are the same size and weight... and use a template...
here is the link..

queendivascloset - Thanks, that looks like an interested solution but do you know if the eBay checkout recognizes it and automatically includes the quoted shipping price.
The reason for my wanting an integrated calculator is so that eBay can figure out what the shipping amount to a customer will be and from that information, include the proper tax to a Canadian customer with the automated invoice it sends to them at time of purchase
I found through experimentation that if I put $15 shipping as a flat rate all through Canada, then eBay accesses the tax table I set up and appropriately invoices each region for the correct tax. The problem here though is as mentioned above because most people can not set a flat rate for all of Canada.
They could at least allow us to choose different rates for Canadian Postal delivery regions...lol...back to my dreamland I shall go

I believe it does recognise it but the best thing to do is contact the seller and ask prior to buying..I've been using .com to list so have not used .ca's tax setup at all...
