Why is it that after all these years, Ebay cant figure out that Canada doesn't have a zip code? Can you make it any more annoying?

If you are looking on.com the box is going to ask for a zip code because it is a U.S. site but putting in a postal code will give you a price if the shipping has been set up correctly. In the screenshot you are showing the shipping must not be set up correctly.
If an American is looking at listings on .ca, they will be asked for a postal code but they can enter their zip code. The box name is set for the home site and doesn't change when international buyers are searching the site.

So why have a drop down box with Canada in it? It's just stupid.
There is a drop box with Canada in it because the shipping calculator thinks that the seller ships to Canada and it's very possible that they do ship here.
What is stupid is that when that message comes up, it usually has nothing to do with the postal code or zip code being wrong but has to do with the shipping not being set up properly by the seller. If you had entered your postal code in the 'zip code' box and the shipping was set up properly, you would have seen a shipping price for Canada. That message in red is a generic message that seems to come up regardless of what the problem is.

So why can't eBay inform these sellers how to set it up properly? This problem is very frustrating for buyers. I AM on eBay.ca.

Shipping cost cannot be calculated. Please enter a valid Postal Code.
