How do I eliminate the shipping cost at the top of my listing, and have it say "See Description" . I have done this in the past. The E-Bay shipping quote with my measurements and weight is absolutely wrong.

If you don't have a shipping fee noted, your listing will not show anywhere except Canada, cutting out the lucrative US market, for example.
I have always found the Calculated Shipping to be very accurate. Are you using metric measurements? Canada Post went metric in 1974. Using any other measures will be inaccurate.
Are you choosing your shipping service correctly? Canada Post is dropping Small Packet Surface within the month and those listings should now be one of Light Packet/ Small Packet Air / or Expedited. Only Expedited has insurance and Delivery Confirmation. Do you need insurance or will self-insurance cover you occasional loss? Do you get many "not delivered " claims that can be ended by Delivery Confirmation?(This varies by category)
Or you can choose to use Flat Rate Shipping. Just enter whatever you think is the best rate for your parcel. Be aware that some services have variable rates depending on the location of the recipient. (For example, a paperback book I can ship to Ontario for $6 cost $12 to ship to Alberta.)

Never guess at shipping. Always use a scale and/or tape measure. If you under estimate, you cannot ask the buyer to pay the additional shipping costs.
