Should I close the unpaid case?

I have a buyer who purchased a shirt from me back on June 8th; she said there was a problem with her paypal account that it was blocked or something and she'd get back to me.  Okay so wait three days and email "any progress?" no answer for another four days so I open a unpaid case.  She emails fairly soon after saying she was out of town and she'll keep me posted.  Another week goes by I email again "any progress" and no reply again.  Do I just close it and move on?  I see on her feedback that she has recent feedbacks like she's still buying

Re: If like you say, "another week", has gone by since you op...

She'll never pay.

Close it. You will get your fees back. Relist the item.

Put the bidder on your Blocked Bidder List.

She will get a Strike for non-payment. Many if not most sellers have an automatic Block against bidders with Strikes. Your Strike will make it harder for her to continue bidding on eBay.

(Can't call her a buyer if she never pays.)

Go to your Seller Preferences and add the Block against bidders with UID Strikes.

If like you say, "another week", has gone by since you opened the Unpaid Item case then the case should already be closed as they close after 4 days.

I turned my automatic thing off so the case doesn't close on it's own after 4 days, I have to close it as I've had a person say they needed more time before and I've waited and they were opposite of this time in being super communicative. This person is very non responsive nor appologetic

Re: If like you say, "another week", has gone by since you op...

You've given her more time than she deserved. Give her the strike. She deserves that. Add her to your blocked bidders list.

These are the common blocks most sellers have:

Block buyers who:

Don't have a PayPal account
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 12 Month(s)
Have a primary shipping address in a location I don't ship to
Have 4 Policy Violation report(s) within 6 Month(s)
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower

**********************************************************************************

Non payers should get unpaid item strikes and be added to block bidders lists. Period.
