Sister site Half.ebay.com only to the US? Why?

I've been looking for some games and found some really good prices on this site. But it doesn't offer to ship to Canada. Why does the states have to make things so difficult?

It appears they are using their own version of GSP  which is very seldom good for Canadians,

GSP adds both extra time and cost to a delivery from the US.
