Site Preference Changed on its own?

When checking my Sold items today I noticed that eBay had a note beneath one of them stating that payment had not been recorded and that an UID would be opened after 16 days according to my Preferences.

Interesting because I had never allowed them to open the disputes automatically as I like to use my own discretion...it's my business...not eBay's.

When I checked my Site Preferences sure enough it was checked Yes to allow them to file the UID. I quickly changed it back to No and will now go back and see if anything else was changed.

That came up on my other ID last week and also two weeks before that.

I have been selling some old Japanese postcards with streetcars and several have sold as multiple item sales.

These are good dependable customers.

Definitely a glitch to watch for, especially for those with auctions and who tend to get multiple item buyers.

Good catch westernstar. I just checked mine and it was set to yes even though I know I had it set to no a couple of months ago.
Another glitch. (insert rolling eyes smiley)
