Variables. There is no time guarantee.
CP cannot claim anything as it it the USPS that does 90% of the work. Heck, in my world, more like 99%. Mail a parcel, rides 1 truck about 12 kliks to the sorting plant next to the airport. Across the runway and onto a plane to the USA. Out of the country in hours.
The logjam is USA Customs.

As I noted and you suggested, Canada Post claims estimated delivery times, not guaranteed ones.
Sheesh. I think it's missing details like this that's got a lot of Canadian buyers sucked into listings using the Global Shipping Program. 😉

Thanks for the info, my customers quite often purchase multiples of inexpensive items and select small packet air mail. However, when the order total gets up in value I like to use a service with tracking. If i upgrade the shipping, I just want to make sure the delivered time would be faster, or at least the same.

I'vs just used tracket packet a couple of times and it does seem to be a few days faster than small packet.
The only 2 times I used it, it was faster than Small Packet Air too.
