That's the minimum wage here in Ontario.
If your work to upload to any social medium takes more time/money to do than it earns, don't bother.
In terms of usefulness, I would recommend Pinterest.
It is a very female-oriented site.
The pinners are enthusiastic re-pinners.
They find your pins by the words underneath, so use lots of keywords.
Mention prices.
Then add your eBay URL.
The pins stay up forever, so it would work better for Fixed Price items than for Auctions.
I run a couple of Pinterest boards. My personal ones are just personal scrapbooks and don't get many hits, but then they are not set up for sharing.

gets one or two repins a day and a follower a week. FWIW - Most hits are on anything with Nathan Fillion (because: Nathan Fillion!) followed by Yannick Bisson and Ottawa Geeky Events.
It took me a while to realize that I should be adding an advertising message to my pins. I'm not very bright.
