This was a silver coin.  What reason was originally given by the American buyer to return the item for refund?

Same happened to me twice for less than a month..... There isnt a seller protection.Yesterday a buyer from Argentina open a case item not received.Well in first place he never paid for the item.But eBay let him to open a case.Go figure

Did you open an Unpaid Item Case against this buyer? If not, you should.

Just phone eBay customer service and have the "item not received' claim closed.

You don't want to open a "unpaid item" case unless your sending the item with a Tracking Number.

Remember to protect yourself, your dealing with a "shady" buyer!

It is one of many reasons I no longer ship any items without a tracking number even to International countries the last 2 years.  To my surprise I got many International buyers willing to pay the expensive mail service with tracking number since then.  Go figure.

At least I no longer get scammers or potential scammers since then.  Wish Canada Post would reduce the cost for mail services with tracking numbers by 50% and then we would sell more items.

Yes, International Tracking is expensive (Tracked Packet-International).

I usually don't ship Internationally with a Tracking Number unless it is a expensive package or my warning light is going off about the buyer.
