Let me write that letter for you.
Dear Revenue Canada,
I was on Ebay the other day, and I saw a thread that was started by Zarzuella, that said that the Canadian government would soon have the ability to monitor sales on Ebay.
Another Powerseller member said that he doubted that. Somehow, I have managed to turn doubting the government's ability to monitor Ebay into income tax evasion, despite the fact that was never mentioned.
I don't read threads, before I post on them. I think this thread is about income tax evasion, when really it's about the government and whether or not they have the capacity to monitor Ebay transactions at this time.
Because I don't know what I'm posting about, i am all excited, and I would now like to open myself up to a lawsuit from a fellow citizen, because I wish to slander them for no good reason.
I do not know this seller, or their financial situation. I do know that this seller has said he doesn't think the government can monitor Ebay sales. This must automatically mean he is doing something wrong, doesn't it.
I do not know where he lives, or what his name is, I have no phone number or address to give you. It's just that he doubts the government can electronically monitor Ebay sales, so he must be a tax cheat. That makes a lot of sense doesn't it.
I know you will now drop, everything and pursue this red hot tip immediately, as you can punch an Ebay Id into your computer and know all instantly. If you should investigate, and it turns out the man's books are perfectly in order, I apologize, at least the man will be happy with his refund. I have a habit of writing stuff without all the facts and creating unneccesary fuss over nothing.
If I ever read anything else in a chat board on Ebay that I feel warrants your attention for no reason at all, I will forward that information ASAP.
Yours Truly,
VITALI
PS. No need to audit me too at the same time, even though I am a Powerseller on Ebay too.
