Recently I purchased an item from a seller in Ontario and she shipped via Canada Post, Expedited w/tracking.  This morning I received an email from Canada Post saying "You are receiving this email at the request of Pitney Bowes, Danbury CT to provide you with updates on the progress of this shipment".  As soon as I saw Pitney Bowes I thought of the dreaded GSP!! but then reminded myself this parcel was coming from Canada!  I relayed this info to the seller  and she said you learn something new everyday.  Is this something new - something to do with the shipping label?!

For over ten years, the so-called "PayPal postage" sellers purchase through eBay is handled by Pitney-Bowes.

They are the largest firm handling postage in the world.

Yes, Pierre I was aware of that - it's just that I've never received received a message from Canada Post stating anything to do with Pitney Bowes.
