Just sold an item this morning via our eBay.ca store, and received email notification from Paypal of the buyer's payment.

I did not receive the standard email from eBay saying "Your eBay item sold! blah blah blah", plus the sale is not showing in My eBay either.

Glitch??? Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like a middle man type of company that this is going to. Like Skybox in Florida, who act as the go between for buyers in Latin America, etc.

Paypal is showing "OK to Ship", but still nothing is showing in my eBay.
Any worries here do you think?

This is problem of disappearing sales. I see it almost daily lately.

Go to the item itself and see if there was in fact a sale and is not a spoof. Then you should be able to invoice through sale history on the item.

I went to the item itself in my eBay. Still showing two available, and nothing sold today. No notification from eBay of a sale either, but it does show in my Paypal as ok to ship and the $ is there.

Checked on the address, and UPS has confirmed it as a valid shipping address.

Is it possible for this third party company to use the eBay item # and send us a Paypal payment for that item without actually going through eBay?

Paypal still says "OK TO SHIP"

There is still no record of this sale on eBay for the item.

Update.

I was able to find the third party's phone number from their website (enkarga.com 305-677-0187), and they confirmed the transaction was done by this buyer (whom, Enkarga said, has purchased other items from eBay, and this company has worked on their behalf for a long time to assist in getting their items shipped to their country).

So it appears I am right- that the purchase was made by this buyer from whatever Spanish speaking country he is from, via whatever eBay site he purchased it through. Then what I see in the transaction details in Paypal, is the buyer has his first and last name, and the shipping address of Enkarga in Doral FL.

Somehow, there must have been a glitch in the system from his eBay site to ours, where he was able to make the purchase and pay for it via Paypal, without it showing up in our eBay system.

Maybe I wont get charged any final value fees then??? Who knows.

Alright....it must be Friday. Seems maybe I have pulled the wool over my own eyes a bit here.

This purchase did not show in my eBay.ca store, because it was purchased from another one of my stores, on eBay.com

Well, on the plus side, I learned alot about third party shipping today. (It's good to keep the cup half full instead of half empty, right? LOL
