I used Channeladvisor for years and I loved it but I am not listing very much now so the cost was too much. Now I just list on ebay.

Making the transition from SAPro was not easy but nothing good ever is.

I use GarageSale for MAC users. It is absolutely brilliant! Has templates free to use and a lot more! Smooth and easy interface as well. Not a BULK lister but and off line auction listing creator software.
iwascoding I believe the user ID who sells it.
Good luck!

I have used postertoaster in the past and I did like it. It has a steep learning curve but it works well.

I use Poster Toaster for listing. I love the use of templates and especially the Template Tags. They allow me to change my terms or shipping costs by just making one change. The Templates are all created by you so you can format whatever way you want. Best of all it is free.

For auction management I use Shooting Star. It is going through a rewrite but still the most logical and well presented software that I have found.

All that being said, if you deal with large amounts of inventory and multiple quantities of similar items, then there are other solutions out there that handle inventory.

I make my own template with Microsoft Frontpage and update it every once in a while. I list through eBay since I only have about 15-20 listings a week. It only takes me a few minutes per listing, since all I do is change dimensions, photos and shipping prices, so the find-replace function in Microsoft Frontpage comes in really handy.

That's Better!
I am amazed at the diversity of tools being used!
Do any others besides myself run a Retail operation as well?

I have tried most if not all the listing/posting software out there and rather than pay the sometimes ridiculous costs involved I decided to take the money that I would normally spend in a year timeframe on paying for listing using one of the bigger companies software and for about 1/2 the yearly costs I approached a local web developer and created our own system - custom tailored to our requirements. The other half of the money paid for a nice vacation to Europe.

We will have our new posting form and listing template up and running next week -- till now we use nothing at all just the plain vanila ebay posting.
