Just wanted to get some ideas on shipping coins, cheaply, but well-packaged. Any info?

Try buying some to build up your feedback so you can see what works well and what doesn't.

Ir depends on the value of the coins.

One important thing to remember, do not tape the coin itself to anything. When the tape comes off, so does the 'aging' of the coin.
For less expensive items, we use lettermail and wrap the coin (which is in a holder or plastic sleeve) in paper and tape it to a file folder that is cut up to fit a regular envelope. That gives the envelope some 'stiffness', the coins don't move around and it is less obvious as to what is in the envelope.

Both companies sell supplies by mail, but all coin dealers and some stamp dealers locally may have stock.
