When I close my store.....

Hi All,

I'll be closing my store on October 31st at midnight. I was over 4000 listings during Christmas of 2009 and I'm now down to 564, down 200 listings from 1 week ago due to a sale that I ran on/off eBay.

I want to make sure that when I close my store that all goes smoothly with no glitches.

So, I'm assuming that I should end all of the listings left at that time FIRST and then close my store??? I don't want any major charges for anything!!!!

Is this what I'll need to do besides fading away?

Any suggestions would be most helpful!

I think that you would have to end all of your listings first and then close your store.
Knowing ebay, if you close the store first they may charge you a new listing fee at the higher non store rate if you leave the listings up once the store is closed.
Good luck with your future off ebay!

To end all remaining listings first is the right thing to do.

I would also suggest you keep your store for a few days longer, advising viewers visiting the store that your store is now permanently closed but all transactions in progress will be completed as usual.

Pierre, I do appreciate your thoughts on me keeping my store open for a few extra days so that my customers will know that all transactions will be completed...not that they would worry, but I don't want them to think I'm not reachable!
