When is FEEDBACK offensive? (NOT FOR THOSE EASILY OFFENDED.)

I have a question as to when using ascii art crosses the line between acceptable, and unacceptable.

We've likely all seen the following, or variations thereof:

º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º FIVE STAR EBAYER º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º
(¯`'·.¸(¯`'·.¸ SEW MANY THANKS! ¸.·'´¯)¸.
//(*_*)\\//(*_*)\\//(*_*)\\//(*_*)\\//(*_*)\\
‹(•¿•)› .•:*¨¨*:•.GREAT eBayer ! .•:*¨¨*:•.Highly Recommend ! .•:*¨¨*:•. ‹(•¿•)›
«:::P:::» «:::E:::» «:::R:::» «:::F:::» «:::E:::» «:::C:::» «:::T:::»
¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º° TOP EBAYER°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸

Now- I once asked eBay about the following feedback:
"*´¯`*•.¸ .. ¥ .. ¸.•*´¯`*•"
and apprently they have no concern with it.
DOES THIS feedback CROSS THE LINE?

Can ascii art be objectionable?

dipmicroXena, I realize Lina was little annoying, but I actually liked reading few of those posts she pulled from the past, many of the issues discussed were still current. She should not have pull them all the same evening but say 5 a day.

Who are you (and this is not a personal attack), or anyone outside of eBay, to even have the chutzpah to suggest that the number of "BUMPS" be limited in any way?
You- and the others here in this little eBay.CA sandbox- in the BIG picture- are an almost meaningless part of that BIGGER eBay.COM sandbox that is eBay.
It's eBay that's the BIG problem- not people who have historically contributed, at times, very informative postings. And now, as this BIG CHANGE is upon us- I THINK/FEEL/KNOW that it is necessary to look to that past- and try to find somethings that either worked, or didn't work.

Constant threads complaining about the same thing over and over again get a bit tedious.

CANADIANS have never counted for much here at eBay.CA- and NOTHING APPEARS to have changed over the years.

SIMPLE Question-
WHAT MAKES ANYONE HERE BELIEVE THAT ANYTHING THEY SAY OR DO WILL CHANGE ANYTHING at eBay.CA ??????

PLEASE- SOMEONE- ANYONE- PROVE ME WRONG !!!!!

(p.s. I have noticed MORE PINKS lately commenting on threads.)

xenalook-LOL!

Female breasts...

Actually the belief, and what we sincerely believe was the intent of the individual posting this, was to recreate an area a little more "south of the equator".
•*´¯`*•.¸ .. ¥ .. ¸.•*´¯`*•

Without being too graphic- the view is more from a 'toe to head view'- with the "-" being a 'kneecap"

It's the use of the JAPANESE YEN symbol that is the issue.

(Had these been breasts- in a 'top down view'- nipples would have likely appeared as a "•" above the "-".)

The argument here is somewhat akin to the debate over STARBUCKS resurrection of an earlier graphic image- that of a SIREN- with "SPLIT FINS".
Jimmy Kimmel commented you can 'almost' see her "GRANDE VENTI"- and therein is perceived problem.
