Where's the 10 Cent Listing Days???

I don't know if I missed one recently but it seems like forever since the last 10 cent listing day promo.

Last 10 cent listing day was Feb 5, 2007. There has 3 promo day since, but none of them were 10 cents.

Last year there was a 10 cent listing day on April 20th. Hopefully one will come soon!

Personally, I find the promo sale days are a waste of money since listing was restricted to the .ca site.

Yep not to mention the site is flooded with stuff that wouldn't otherwise be there.

I like the .ca promo days because the North American market isn't as flooded. The .com ones are a complete waste of time.

If you are going to participate in the .ca ones, then make it worth your while. I usually have a sale on one line of products and promote the hell out of it. Seems to work pretty good.

.com sales on the other hand are only good for listing a bunch of stuff in order to reap the credits later. Due to the flooding of the market during the sale period, not much sells. If you wait a week or two to relist those items then you can sell them and get the listing fees credited.

Yeah, they only refund the promo insertion fee now on resale.

My point about promo days is that they used to be terrific when they were restricted to Canadian sellers but we could choose to post on either .ca or .com. When eBay changed the rules to restrict us to .ca only, my sales dropped to the point that it really isn't worth it.

A few months ago I believe. If you qualify to get the relist credit they only give you the lesser of the listing fee you paid. Relisting items listed on sale days is pretty pointless now.

I too have been waiting for a discount listing day. I like to list my higher priced items on those days so if they don't sell, I am not out a bunch of $$. This has worked well for me in the past.

When you have a 10 cents listing on .ca only ... just click that you sell worldwide and it will appear on .com anyway.

And list your item for 3 or 5 days, then, you will have more buyers than for 7 days where everything end at the same time.
