Why I can't write review for every item I purchase?

Hey guys,

I recently started to use eBay, got few things and I am really happy with few of them, so I wanted to write a review of the item. However, despite in the help there is a topic about reviewing and it says "navigate to or search for the item, then click the Write a review link", basically such link does not exist or at least I can't find it.

I have noticed a link popped up on my dashboard page down-left saying "write a review for XX items you recently won", where I noticed an actual "Write a review" link but it's not for the items I wanted to write a review for.

So is there a way to write a review OR this is disabled feature for most of the sellers?

Also why does it says that I "Won" items, while I paid for it? That sounds strange.

Why don’t I see reviews for every product I see on eBay?

Currently, eBay has reviews for only a few categories, including books, dvds, music and cell phones. If you are researching a specific product, try searching for both reviews and guides.

Remember, if you don't see a product in Reviews & Guides, it doesn't mean that it's not listed on eBay. Use the search box at the top of most eBay pages to search for a product to buy.
