Why do US sellers charge Import charges on items exported? Items sent to Canada via postal service have no further charges because of our free trade agreement . Are buyers being ripped of?
Customs charges do not apply towards the free trade agreement. Anything valued over $20 is still eligible for taxes. When sent by USPS/CP normally they slide through uncharged, unless the value is really high.
