Why does eBay allow members to have the same name?

I have the same name as another member and it is causing problems for me and my purchase.

Hi .. Cannot see how that is possible..when i search your ID i see 2 close matches one is different by 1 digit.

Perhaps if somehow you are having issue you could consider changing..
