Why when i relist a listing with variations that has had some sales, does eBay relist all variations? Even ones i have sold out of.

Hello,
I have about 400 items on ebay right now. I have been using the variation feature, but it throwing my inventory way off. If i have a shirt and list blue, white and green and the blue sells ... when i relist the listing it shows that i have the blue shirt in stock again.
The unsold folder in my eBay shows the sale and balance of what i still have but once i relist they "restock" my listing with stuff i dont have.
This is very frustrating and causing me greif.
Thanks

Hello 'thejumpstreetwear',
I found this info page on revising variations listings, what you can and cannot do and so forth, - not sure if it will be what you had in mind or not. Have you seen it?

Don't use 'relist' use 'sell similar' and make adjustments.
It may take a few minutes initially, but it will save hours later.
